I have known Irmchen since I was a small boy growing up in La Mesa. She was great friend of my parents and I always remember her smiling. She was always very kind to me and i am really sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to her Children.
It seems like so long ago that I met Irmgard. She was a gentle sole who was kind enough to share with me information about the German Club & Oktoberfest in El Cajon. Not only did my membership start but our friendship grew over the years and my children grew up in the club loving & respecting Irmgard to. As she was the First Oktoberfest Queen there in El Cajon, her presence will always be there if no longer in person but forever more in spirit. To my very good friend who always had kind words and a beautiful smile to share with me – Rest In Peace & God Bless.
