Irmgard K. Blauser's Obituary
Irmgard K. Blauser passed away peacefully in her home on June 20, 2019 at the age of 84. Irmgard was born on December 17, 1934 in Berlin, Germany to proud parents Kurt and Else Wickert.Irmgard was a photographer by profession for 35 years. Irmgard was a long standing member of theGerman-American Societies of San Diego; I believe since 1969. She participated, photographed and loved all events which included Karneval/Funkemariechen, GAMGA Princess, Damenkreis, Oktoberfest and Sommerfest. Her passion did not stop there, Irmgard volunteered in the House of Germany/Balboa Park. In her younger years she worked as a color Printer, one of the first women in the profession, for Busco-Nestor Studios. As time passed she became the owner of Florence Arts Photography ’til it closed.She was passionate about photography ’til the end.She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Stanley R. Blauser, and her brother: Horst Wickert.Irmgard is survived by her daughter: Katherine “Kat” Adams and son: Andrew G. Blauser.She will be missed. Lot of Love Mom
