Dear Greg, We are very sorry for your loss and wish to share our condolences to all families and friends of Jinaan. We never had the pleasure of meeting Jinaan but she looks like a very interesting person who led a fulfilling life with many friends. Thanks for sharing her life story and all the nice photos in her memory.
Dear Greg, Our condolences to you, Jason, and Mia in coping with the loss of Jinaan. The service was touching and am grateful for having been a part. You are a good friend and always have been. "Wish you the sunshine of tomorrow."
Greg:I remember Jinaan well from many performances in the 1970s and long discussions about a wide range of topics between shows. She had a shy intensity yet brought much emotion to her work and to those around her. My heart goes out to you and your family in her passing with the hope for eternally fond memories and the continuity of her spirit.
Jinnanā¦Thank you for the privelege of accompanying your dance performances with my drum solos. Bringing to stage your fiery emotion and graceful gentility, your dancing was always captive to audiences and challanging to musicians. Be at peaceā¦Charlie Dermenjian
Greg, you have wonderful, wonderful kids in Jason and Mia. They supported their father and stuck together like true family. I am very proud of them. As a Funeral Arranger I am not always able to make that statement; sometimes it is the opposite.Jinaan has truly been honored by all of you.God bless,
Dear Greg : My condolences to you and all of Jinaan family and friends, even though I did not know her ; she must have been a great lady because you only gravitate towards the best people and the best things in life. Igor von Wurttemburg
Dear Greg, My name is Joe Zeytoonian and I currently live in south Florida. Jinaan and I did many performances together in the late seventies. She was a magical interpreter of the music. Audiences were stunned and emotionally moved by her artistic nuances. Bless you and your family and my hope is that you find peace. By all who knew her in that fertile time, she was much loved.
Dear Greg, I apologize for not being with you and the family today. I am not feeling well. Nothing serious but the heat in Palm Springs just triggered severe headaches and sinus problems. Jinaan was a very dear person. I first met her in the Boston area. We worked at the same Middle Eastern restaurants. We ran into each other often but we lived in different areas of MA. She was always a pleasure to be with. She was a lovely dancer. Her sword dancing is still remembered in Boston. I have contacted the people there through facebook and they send their best. Today I contacted Joe Zeytoonian (he lives in FL) and travels with Shakira.and others and will give them this site if possible. Walid and I wish you the best. Our condolences to you on losing your best friend to another world. But have no fear she will be waiting for you. She is now dancing and sharing with the angels in heave, God bless you. Contact us any time. We are your friends too. Love, Morwenna & Walid Assaf, Oceanside, CA
