John Wesley Houston Jr., age 72, passed away on September 8th, 2019. John was born on August 3rd, 1947, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to his mother Hazel Baskin and John Wesley Houston Sr. He was the 2nd of 12 children.John Graduated from Lincoln High School and received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of San Diego and his Masters of fine art specializing in theater from the University of California San Diego.Prior to beginning his successful career as an Actor John Served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 during the Vietnam war. To those who knew him personally he was known as a classy, loving, caring and encouraging man. To his fans he was best known for his role as Mr. Jim on Martin.John Wesley Houston Jr. is survived by his loving wife Jenny Houston whom he married on September 8th, 2018, his two daughters Kimiko Kamiel Houston and Kinshasha Lynett Houston and his seven Grandchildren; Kazaria Houston, Jeremiah Houston, Anijah Houston, Isaiah Jones, Johnathan Jones and Nia Jones. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones and fans.
