I was just remembering the wonderful times we served together on the USS Vincennes CG-49. I have only great memories with Jay he had such a wonderful personality and a huge and unforgettable smile. You touched so many people. You are missed by many. Rest in peace my friend.

My last and fondest memory of John was the last time I witnessed his heart beating.
