I grew up across the street from Jo. Her daughter. Jennie and I were best friends until the age of 13 when I had to move away due to my parents divorcing and selling the house. But this woman practically raised me as I was always at her house. When Jennie it broke my heart and I know it broke her heart too. Then when Angela was murdered by her son, I couldn’t even imagine the pain that Jo went through, I need to have her son Bobby taken soon after from cancer. The pain that she suffered in her life from war, her husband’s early death and her brother Tom’s unfortunate passing and her children dying before her only shows how strong of a woman she was to survive it all. I am comforted to know that she is reunited with her children again, and I look forward to seeing them all one day.
