In fond memory…..
Kamala manni has been my friend philosopher and guide to me always. she was ever smiling and ready to offer her help to all. We are grateful to her for the timely help she gave to me and my family when we needed them most. She was very caring and always had positive thoughts which she transformed to the people near her. Ofcourse my Anna was a great support to her in all her good thoughts. we cherish the good memories we shared with Kamalamanni, We were lucky to be with them in Hy'd before they left for US.She has become one with God now and I am sure will give us the strength to lead our life in a positiveway .
We remember Kamala Periamma as a gentle lady with a sweet smile and soft words. That's the memory we always will cherish… Sashi & Kumar

We were shocked when we heard that Mrs Rajgopal is no more with us. We know the family since early 80 s Still remember the Idli Dosa dinners in Delhi-Daula Kua residence. After we moved to AWHO Cly we could meet her very often,Last I met her was when I walked into Rajgopals early morning(as I do during my morning walks),just to enquire as we had not met them for few weeks. She is still in front of me smiling as always. She will always remain in our thoughts.May HER soul rest in peace-Brig Kumaran and Vava
Kamala was known to me from her love letters to Raj in 1956. Ever since I met her, i dont exactly remember where, my wife and I have developed a fond affection for her. I'm yet to come across a sober lady as Kamala who always had great affection for her friends. Whenever we visit Hydrabad Kamala has been the hostess for us. After many such visists to her home we had the proud privilage of having her and Raj as our guests at our home in 2004.Exactly 1 week prior to the great tsunami catastrophe we where on the vivekananda rocks. We remember the 1 week gap by which we escaped the tsunami. Let god give peace to her soul in heaven… Rahim and Fathima
You were a very affectionate sister. You were always very gentle and quiet. I shall always remember the good times we had as kids and as we grew up. The loss is so great that I am unable to say anything more. Viji Radhakrishnan, Coimbatore
We were both shocked to hear the sad demise of Mrs Kamala Rajagopal . She had spoken to us about her trip to USA and we had wished her a pleasant stay with her children and grandchildren.Though she had complained about her stomach ailment and we were shocked when we heard from the General about the ulcer that was detected while she was in USA. The General had informed us that she had taken the first 'Chemo' treatment well and we wished her a speedy recovery .We met her for the first time when we moved in to Secunderabad on my retirement. Her charming grace, kind and benovelent nature won our hearts immediately. She was indeed a very special kind of person who touched everyone she had come across with her very enquiring and genuinely friendly ways. My wife was always wanted to know if the General and his wife would be at any social gathering, so that we could spend some time with her.Her interst in music , arts and spiritual matters was again something to be admired . She would very fondly recollect 'Gita' discourses she attended and her abiding faith in our sprictures was very inspiring. We have lost a dear friend but as Gita explains '?Body has death, but not the soul. The body sleeps, the soul flies. It migrates from body to body. It searches for another conducive environment for living a new set of its required experiences Weapons cannot cleave it, nor fire can consume it , nor water can drench it, nor wind dry it" .We join all her well wishers in the prayers for the departed soul.Though she may not be physically be with us in this world, she will forever rest in our hearts with great love and affection. She was indeed a very special person who touched so many of us and many others who came in touch with her by her kind, and affectionate ways, leaving behind a very rich legacy of love.We also Pray to the Almighty that He gives Gen Rajagopal and all the family members , the strength and fortitude to brave this tragic loss the dear one.In deep sorrow and sadness–Ranga and Subhashini Aiyengar (Secunderabad-India)
