I was saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved mother. I remember meeting "Auntie Lola" and "Uncle Flukey" when I was a child. My bonus Popz, Charles Dozzell was W.L's brother-in-law.
"Auntie Lola" was so full of grace. She was extremely kind and compassionate towards my siblings and I (Tina, Andre and Marcus). My mother, Miss Johnnie, enjoyed a beautiful friendship/sisterhood with your mother.
My heart is warmed reading your tribute to such a grand LADY.
I'm sorry I will not be there to help you celebrate her life. I am delighted for your parents to be reunited in Paradise. The saints are rejoicing!
You are in my prayers for strength and comfort in this new season. It's hard being an "orphan." I know the feeling. I will never say it gets easier, experiencing grief but it is manageable with Yeshua Hamashiach walking with you every step of the way.
Please take good care of yourselves and stay close to one another but more importantly, close to God.

Mrs. Courtney visited Greater Fellowship MBC a few times with her daughter, Doreen Walker. It was always a pleasure having her in attendance.

Lola, we had our good times down here in Texas. I looked forward to the time Gerald, you, and myself would hit the town for lunch with our good tunes blasting in the truck. I’ll also never forget our vacation to Jamaica with your brother and husband, great times!! You’ll be forever missed Sister-N-Law. 💕
