Lola Mae Courtney's Obituary
Mom, you’ve been a huge inspiration to everyone who’s had the privilege to meet you. Your passive spirit was loving & caring towards everyone you encountered. I don’t think I’ve met anyone who did not enjoy your company. When you were in the care facilities and had trouble speaking, the nurses told me you’d utter the words, “Thank you baby” as they helped you with your daily needs…they all absolutely loved you! Your listening ear and encouraging words were valuable to everyone who had deep conversations with you. You always cared about others’ well-being. I’m glad we had the chance to see you live a full wonder life that GOD planned for you. We are all grateful for the wonderful memories you left us. You absolutely** LOVED** to travel, anytime we were on the road, you wanted to be there, I’m glad you had the chance to experience different parts of the world. You left a bunch of family who loved you dearly; knowing your now resting in peace with your Father: W.F Heard, Mother: Louella Heard, Brothers: W.L Heard (Homie) & Gerald Heard (Uncle G), as well as your late Husband Clarence Courtney Sr gives us comfort that everyone is back together in Heaven at peace with theLORD. I want to thank you for providing a strong foundation to everyone who listened and follow your lead. You left an incredible impression on many lives, we ALL Love You!! Rest in Peace as we all HONOR your LIFE!!
