Dear Lola, I miss you. You were a beautiful Saint and such an inspiration to me. You’ve taught me so much in life. Witnessing the impact you had towards others through your love and generosity had taught me to be loving and generous. You were the first person I witnessed praying, and so I wanted to pray. When you cooked, you taught me how to care for others. When you gardened, you taught me the beauty that comes out of hard work. When you gave me candy, you taught me to appreciate the little things in life. When you would tell stories, you taught me to look forward to what life has to offer. When you gave me back massages when I was in pain, you taught me that strength doesn’t fade unless you let it. So I will be strong for you. I will be strong to carry your legacy. Every memory we have shared together means so much to me and will be held close to me forever. I love you Lola.
