Loreto R Valena's Obituary
Loreto Valena or Lola Nanay as she was affectionately called, passed away on April 22, 2023 in California surrounded by the people who loved her the most. She was 94.
Loreto was born in the Philippines to Bernadino and Serapia Remolona on September 27, 1928. She was one of seven children. Loreto is survived by her children Gerardo, Marilyn, Estela, Cleofe, Renato, Rosendo, Robert and Katherine, her 26 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Loreto was a beautiful woman, both inside and out. She loved with her whole heart, making sure that everyone she loved felt it. She was a generous spirit, always giving but never asking anything in return. She was a wonderful story teller and always made us laugh as we listen to her stories. Loreto always saw the beauty in this world. But to those who loved her dearly, she made the world more beautiful. She will be dearly missed.
