L.V. Stokley's Obituary
L.V. Stokley was born on October 21,1931 in Boyenton, OK The first child from the union of Harrison and Maggie Lee Stokley. He gained his wings on January 6,2017. Preceding him in death are; both parents Harrison and Maggie Lee, sisters; Verneala, Quete, and Verrah, Son; Butch Roosevelt. He leaves behind one son Louis B. Stokley, two granddaughter’s Sheri “Coco” Velazquez and Angela Bosley, four great-grandchildren Selassie, James, Jada, and Liam. Along with a plethora of nieces and nephews, one of which was a loving caregiver to him, Glynis Terry, many great-nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.L.V. Stokley was a long time resident of Los Angeles, CA and after living there for many years was welcomed back home to San Diego, CA in 2003 to be closer to family. L.V. proudly served for the United States Army and was honorably discharged after the Korean War. He had an unforgettable spirit that touched the lives of all that knew him and was always willing to help those in need. He is very much loved and overwhelmingly cherished by all that have come to know him.
