What a beautiful soul Lydia is. I know she now lives in the Kingdom she so lovingly deserves. I think of her often. Her joy, her spirit, her enthusiasm, her immense love for her son Bobby, her family and mankind.
Lydia would always speak to anyone about the love of Jesus Christ, in hopes to comfort and encourage them.
Our sisterhood, the years of friendship will live on in my heart forever. I'm so sorry I could not be at the service. I did not know.

Lydia was one my mother’s (Jennise Milton) best friends. I remember growing up her always being such a sweet person and having a kind spirit. Her smile and positive energy could take over a room without words being spoke. From the Milton, Smith, and Waters family we send our condolences and prayers to her family .

I remember. when me your mom and Lena Walker we’re the first African American girls in del sol to play softball And we were good. We made all stars every year we play. We also attended the same Junior High and High School. She will be missed! R.I.P.

I truly miss our sun-soaking days on the front lawn of Montgomery HS – plotting our run to the Taco Bell across the street…and I can’t leave out how gracious she was to trust us with french braiding beautiful hair – part down the middle and a braid on each side!
