Sunrise: February 21, 1961Sunset: October 6, 2019Lydia Johnson was born to Junette Johnson (nee Landers) in San Diego, during the 1960’s. Her mother, Junette, later married Edward Lee Johnson in the mid 60’s shortly after her sister, Lynette Johnson was born. Her brother, Edward Lee Johnson Jr, was born a couple years later, completing the Johnson family of 5. She was a loving mother to her son, Bobby Johnson, who was born January 13, 1981. Lydia worked in administration for the County of San Diego Courts and Sheriff Department for almost 20 years.One of Lydia’s proudest accomplishments was obtaining her real estate license. She took pride in being welcoming and personable with each of her clients, as she was known for her fun and loving personality. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed sharing culinary delights with her son and other family members. Lydia was known for her devout spirituality to her Christian faith, and was always using inspiring and hopeful words to uplift her closest friends and loved ones. She was a creative person, and very fashionable, collecting beautiful pieces of jewelry and wearable stones to accent her free-flowing, and spiritual nature.She is survived by her mother Junette Landers, son Bobby Johnson along with his wife and son, Silvia and Xavier B Johnson. Her brother and sister Ed and Lynette Johnson, her uncle Jarvis Landers, as well as two nieces Janelle and Cassandra Millner, and great-nephew Adonis McDougald.She is preceded by her father Edward Johnson, her grandparents Junie Mae and Jewel Landers as well as Irene and Tom Strickland, her uncle Jonathon Landers, and great-nephew Liam McDougald.A memorial service will be held in her honor at Greenwood Mortuary in the Last Supper Chapel (Located in the Mausoleum) on Monday, October 14th, at 12pm.
