Thank you so much for so many kind words and expression of love towards my Dad. I really miss talking with him about my concerns and thoughts about what ever, and his understanding of whatever it may be. He is always interested in you and helping at anytime. 28 years ago my family had the honor and privilege to become the next door neighbors to our beloved friend aka Grandpa Lyle. He was the best neighbor in the world. Never ever did he complain about anything. We were so blessed to know him. Lyle was extremely kind, humble, compassionate, generous, and such a loving Dad, Grandpa and friend to all. Lyle had a great sense of humor and so talented playing his trombone. I can still hear him practicing in the living room. He always considered others first especially when his beloved Shirley and her parents got ill. He was right there giving them tender care. I have many great memories of my favorite neighbor and the neighborhood will not be the same now that he has left this world. My family will deeply miss you Lyle and thank you for being you! We send our condolences to all his children and grandchildren. Kenny thank you and your family for being that example to all of us on Baily Avenue of caring for your Dad. Lyle IS(he has merely changed positions) my best friend. We both, with our families, lived on Albatross St across the street from each other and bought our homes on Bailey Avenue next door to each other. I was an Embalmer and Funeral Director at Greenwood and Lyle accompanied me on Many many death calls in the middle of the night. We had many other activities together, especially at his cabin up in the Cuamaca forest. I really look forward to meeting Him and Shirley on the other side.
