Maria Louise Belflower's Obituary
Maria Louise Belflower, a cherished resident of Bulverde, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the age of 62, after a courageous three-year battle with appendix cancer.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Maria was a devoted Catholic who attended Holy Spirit Catholic School and graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Peace. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was actively involved in her parish, Ascension Catholic Church, contributing to the Pro-Life committee, the Ministry of Charity, and Fiesta set-up.
Throughout her life, Maria held several fulfilling jobs, including positions at Fedco, Kaiser, Power Crunch, and various Catholic schools. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her immediate family, particularly her loving husband and children. She cherished their travels, camping adventures, beach days, and visits to state parks.
Maria is survived by her devoted husband, John; her son, Joshua; her daughter, Stephanie; her father, Andrew; her brothers, Dana, Victor, and Michael; her sisters, Donna (George) and Phyllis; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and their children.
A Rosary Vigil will be held at Ascension Catholic Church on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 7:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 am. Her Inurnment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park at 2:00 pm following the funeral service. Maria’s memory will forever be held in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire.
