March 13, 1947 – November 3, 2014 Mary Jane Moore Born in San Bernardino CA. on March 13, 1947 to Betty and Robert Moore, who later divorced after the birth of their son Tommy. Betty later met Linford Joslin and exchanged wedding vows in September 1954. Over the next ten years the family grew with the birth of three more children; Larry, Anita and Jeff. Time marched on and Mary became an Aunt to four; Rebecca, Jessika, Dustin and Hannah and a Great-Aunt to five; Andrea, Dakota, Ashley, Lizzy and Braylyn. Mary attended and Graduated in 1965 from Eisenhower High School, San Bernardino, CA. She then attended vocational school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and was employed for more than 40 years at the Community Hospital of San Bernardino. After her retirement she spent most of her time here in San Diego. Mary was an avid reader which gave her the uncanny ability to answer every Jeopardy Game Show question ever asked, she could have been a winning contestant. Mary liked to crochet, listened to music. She loved scary movies, thrilling amusement rides, family trips, often visited the San Diego Zoo/Wild Animal Park. She loved her family, friends and Bizee her cat. Preceded in death by her Brother Tommy, Mother Betty and Father Linford. Survived by her two brothers; Larry Joslin (Debbie) of San Diego, CA, Jeffrey Joslin (Gaye) of Florence, SC, two sisters, Janet Williams (Damon) of Gallatin, TN and Anita Gossack (Bart) of Ranchita, CA. Mary was the best daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Mary was loved by all and will be greatly missed.Two Smiling Eyes Two smiling eyes are sleeping, Two busy hands are still. The one we love so deeply Is resting at God’s will. May she always walk in sunshine, God’s love around her glow. For all the happiness she gave us, Only a few will ever know. It broke our hearts to lose her But she did not go alone. For part of us went with her The day God called her home.
