Paul Albert Booth's Obituary
Paul Albert Booth was born in Washington, Pennsylvania November 16, 1923
and moved to San Diego as a child. His education included graduating from
San Diego High School, receiving a Bachelors degree from Balboa University
and Masters from USIU. He also served in the Army during WWII spending
time in England.
The biggest part of his working career was as an Accountant for Rohr
Aerospace Corp in Chula Vista for 35 years retiring in his 50’s.
The mother of his two boys, Brad and Doug was Wilma Fern Mitchell, who
preceded him in death in 1978. He was also married to Bette Lee Brogan, they enjoyed his retirement traveling all over and spending time with family.
Everyone that knew him liked him and loved him…he was a GREAT person,
loving to travel, play golf and go to Del Mar…every day if he could!!
Two things brought him the most joy, Golf and Family! Golf became a 2-3
times a week ritual into his mid 90’s. Family times were many, especially
during Fall Holidays, his Birthday, when he came to ball games, etc. And, in recent times nothing could bring a belly laugh or the biggest smile more than a picture of his Great-grandchildren or being with the one’s near by. So happy he got to see and be with them as much as he did because it meant so much to him, every picture, every conversation, every minute.
He is also preceded in death by his older brother Richard Booth and his
youngest son Douglas Alan, and Bette.
He is survived by his son, Bradford Owen Booth, daughter-in-law Beverly,
daughter-in-law Julie Booth, brother Jim Booth and sister-in-law Leona, sister in-law Jeannette Booth, Granchildren - Nick & Amelia Booth, Johnny & Jolette Booth, Garry & Arlene Booth, Abby & Joel Fitzpatrick, 6 Great Granddaughters, 2 Great Grandsons, and many Nieces, Nephews and Great Grandnieces-Great Grandnephews.
Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Uncle, Brother…so loved, will be so missed but never forgotten.
