What can I say today as we remember Paul Wong (PW). For me personally, he will often be remembered. I will miss our mid morning chats ? sometimes at work I would take a break and just call the Wong home and chat with him ? he would always make me laugh and the excitement in his voice when he realized it was me always caught me by surprise and joy. I loved to hear him tell his stories about driving the truck across the country. Many at time, he would be working in the yard or just having coffee but he would always have time to talk with me. I would ask him how he and everyone was doing and he always spoke of his family with love. If I was having a not so good or mediocre day, I would come off the phone and somehow I would feel better. He was always encouraging . PW ? may your soul rest in peace.

I never will forget my uncle paul. He called me guerra. " Hi guerra " he handwould say so bubbly and full of life as he would shake my hand. Very respectfull no doubt he was so very kind. You truely will be missed. Lisa Llamas

Richard and I will truly miss Mr Wong's long conversations at family events and party that we would be invited to. Mr Wong was so funny he could make us laugh and had a good memory of past events. He will truly be missed. Yvonne and Richard Alcoser

My fondest childhood memory of my Dad is when he would gather his family up to visit his extended family in Mexicali. It was a stark contrast from our comfortable lives in San Diego. What I remember most through those differences were that we were all deeply loved and so welcomed by our Mexicali relatives. As a youngster I was intrigued by the Spanish language chatter and longed to understand what was being said. Always happy to get into fun and mischief with my cousins, mostly my Tia Rosa's children. I remember I could always feel how much they loved, honored and respected my Dad; and with the same dream inside them they recognized the guts and courage it takes to have a better life through watching my Dad live it out. My Dad had genuine love for his own family and taught us what genuine love was about by way of example every single day. He taught me so much, I sew and alter clothing today, because I watched him do it! Think about your future" he would always say! I will miss him dearly, but look forward to seeing him in Heaven! TTYL Dad!

So many memories with this amazing man! I am honored to have been able to spend many days and nights at his house. My fondest childhood memories were on Radio dr. You will never know how much I love and appreciated you opening your arms to me into your family. A lot of my family values today are based on those times I shared with you and your family in your home. In your absence I will hold your memories.
