Richard Lowell Batterton's Obituary
Richard Lowell Batterton was born on May 28, 1938 in Rawlins, Wyoming to parents Robert Van Batterton and Julia Lois Greason Batterton and entered into rest on August 11, 2022 in San Diego, California. Lowell was a resident of San Diego for over 48 years. He was also a respected and loving son, brother, friend, uncle, husband, father and grandfather. He worked as a commercial inspector for the U.S. Customs for over 28 years. He married Eleanor Dorman and together they raised 2 children, Eric and Gregory Batterton. He found new love and companionship with Evan Weddle, his partner. Lowell and Evan enjoyed many years together. When his health began to fail, she looked after him and brought him great happiness. It is evident that he will forever be missed yet never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
