I'm just now seeing this obituary as I searched for an address for a Christmas card to Ruby. My condolences to her family and friends. I attended First Pres many years ago and can remember how welcoming she was, how soft-spoken she was, always smiling and how beautiful she was - all of these traits being passed on to her lovely daughter. Vester was also a delight to know - almost a permanent smile on his face. I truly believe God blessed them with one another and that ensured their happiness and faith. Will see you in the future, Ruby and Vester.

Mrs. Timms and my mother worked together at North island. After my mother passed Mrs. Timms and I would occasionally talk and it was frequently about decorating our homes. She would call me and ask for recommendations about certain appliances etc. I miss talking with her.

in honor of Ruby.

Ruby Timms was my cousin and friend, She was full of wisdom and laughter, I would come to San Diego and visit with her and my Aunt Madoline for a lunch date. I keep in contact with her because she could give the history of my family. I loved to ask her how she was doing, just to hear her I am kicking but not high. I loved that, it would always make me laugh. She will be sorely missed. Love you Ruby Timms, you are a treasure of my heart..
