Mom was into stuffed animals. There is one such stuffed animal she loved the most: a stuffed teddy bear called, of course, "Teddy". It was always on her bed at her home, tucked under the sheet and blanket, fully clothed. She would hold it, prop it next to her when she took naps and who knows told her secrets to it (laugh). When she was at the hospital in July she asked for "Teddy" to be brought to her and I did just that. Her eyes were beaming and said, loudly, "Teddy, there's my Teddy!" and almost snatched it from me (laugh). A few days before she passed away, she asked me to take Teddy because she was bothered by her stuffed animal being moved around in her hospital room. So, I did. I placed Teddy in my vehicle, seatbelt on, and has never left me since. I never understood Mom's infatuation of Teddy...now I know (smile).
