From the very first day we met at Home of Guiding Hands, Sue was like a mother to me. We immediately bonded over how we both moved to San Diego from the east coast. She quickly became a great friend, took me under her wing and understood me.
Sue became a source of comfort for me. Someone I could talk to about work, my life and missing my home. Even when we didn’t work together, she would keep in touch weekly. I looked forward to our Friday phone calls and life updates.
She has taught me so many life lessons and showed us all, how strong a woman can be. My heart goes out to Matt, Britt, Kourt, Julie and Sue’s entire family.
I miss her immensely and feel so grateful that she was a part of my life🤍🪽
