How do you thank a man you never met...I know that sounds funny but let me explain.
We are your Dad's tenets on Cowles Mountain Ct for the last 20 years! I have always respected your Dad's privacy as he worked through a property management company all these years. We got so very lucky when we found this place driving frantically down the coast back in 2000 when one minute something was for rent and then next day it was gone. I remember telling my wife--I don't know what we are going to do, I cant find anything. Then my father in law called and send come down TODAY! And so we did, and that started our 20 year history with your Dad and Mom- your not married 72 years without her input! Your parents were very kind to us and they kept the rents lower than the going rate. They could have raised them time and time again over the years--But they didn't. We are a family of modest means and without their kindness im not sure if we would still be here in San Diego, I'm not sure if my wife would have been still able to visit her mother (88) or her Dad ( also a Veteran) who was able to enjoy his only granddaughter for a while before his passing some years back. She is now 16 and I remind her most days how lucky she is to have grown up here in San Diego. Honestly without your Dad's kindness I'm not sure it all works out like it has. Yes we got lucky when we found this place 20 years ago-- but even luckier that your Dad owned it! I'm not sure what the future hold for us now, but whatever happens-- I will tell you that one day, I don't know when or how or even who -- but I will pay it forward to someone in need in some way--and when I do, I will be thinking of your Father! So really words cannot adequately express how thankful we are to this man we never met. On behalf of myself, my wife Sharon and my daughter Colette, we express our sincere condolences to your family during this time of loss. Rest in Peace Sir. -- Frank Giganti & Family
