You’re home now.
My grandfather, my angel.
I love you more than words can ever amount to. Your love is pure. You are my strength, my pride and joy. You always encouraged me to become a better version of me. You taught me so much and I am forever grateful for that. You will live through our memories while your legacy will continue on forever. I will remind my kids of how wonderful you were from the very moment you raised me as your own.
Although my heart is shattered.
We may not have had much. But I was so wealthy. You and grandma showered me with love. Looking back, you did your best to make me feel like our situation was normal. I knew deep down, the struggle was hard. I would not have had it any other way. Thanking GOD for every precious moment we had together.
God appointed you to be my legal guardian angel for the life we shared here in this world. Meanwhile we will only be separated temporarily. But you are reunited with Grandma in love, in your heavenly home now. Jesus has you.
This hurt is so deep, but it will subside.
I am reminded to rest and dwell in the Lord. I will meditate in His word and pray continually.
It was by His grace that I was blessed with having you as my Father figure. I am truly honored by being raised by you and grandma, from the very moment I entered into this world.
Thank you for being more than enough for me and providing all that you can. You did it all so gracefully. You and grandma didn’t have much, but you gave me everything. That is priceless. Through the hardships in your lifetime, you persevered in everything that you did; always teaching us how important family is and where are values lie. You taught us to always be kind, to always be present, stay humble, to not take anything for granted, to give and to give whole heartedly, to respect your elders, the list could go on forever. I will continue to honor you and pass down everything you’ve taught me. I’ll share all our memories and stories to my kids. Your legacy will live on through all generations. I love you so much, my best friend.
Love, July (Ali) Chanthamart
