William Paul Ballard Jr's Obituary
William Paul "Bill" Ballard Jr. (87) of Bonita, California passed away on July 9th, 2024, surrounded by family. Bill was born on February 22nd,1937, in Leavenworth, Kansas. His family relocated to San Diego when he was 7 years old. Bill graduated from high school and attended trade school for a service station business. Bill's 50 year career as a service station owner touched the lives of many. He enjoyed going to work daily to help his customers and work side by side with his employees. He loved family outings, taking the boat out to the bay to water ski, going to Lake Tahoe and June Mountain to snow ski, coaching baseball for his boys growing up, watching and listening to sports, and he was an avid golfer. If you asked him how he was his response would be " If I was any better I'd be you".
Bill was a devoted husband to Rosemarie, and their love story was one for the ages. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, shared dreams, and unwavering support. His loving spirit leaves behind wife Rosemarie: daughter Diane & husband Kapule; daughter Holly; son Ron & wife Laura; daughter Lori & husband William; son William Paul III & wife Kelly; stepson Tye & wife Lori; stepson Shawn; 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
As we bid farewell to Bill we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, kindness, and lasting connections. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
