I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my dear childhood friend, and next door neighbor Yvonne Annette Evjen Piscopo. I have so many fond memories of growing up, and spending time with Vonnie, and her wonderful family. Through the years our families shared so many special occasions together from childhood Birthday Parties, Weddings, and Baby Showers. I remember when Vonnie first met Phil Piscopo, she knew right from the beginning that he was the one she wanted to marry someday. Her dreams came true, Yvonne and Phil married, and shared a beautiful family, and life together. My deepest sympathy, and condolences to Yvonne's family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have very fond memories of a trip to San Diego to visit with our California cousins and Aunt Mildred and Uncle Gordon. We had some great fun with Vonnie and Phil. I especially remember, 4th of July at the beach. That was forty years ago! May you rest in peace with no pain my dearest Vonnie, until we meet again!
